Brazil Washed Peaberry Coffee
This exotic Jazblu Peaberry blend is produced by two dedicated farmers, Obadias Nascimento Rodrigues of Fazenda Canaã and Geraldo de Almeida Sinay of Fazenda Esperança, both located in the Planalto da Bahia region of Brazil. This unique 10/11 screen-size peaberry selection features handpicked ripe yellow and red catuai cherries that are de-pulped the same day, fermented 12-15 hours in degomagem tanks, then sun-dried using the region's specialized fully washed process. The high altitude and unique weather patterns of Planalto da Bahia create slower maturation and multiple flowerings, requiring selective hand-harvesting that results in a more complex and aromatic sensorial experience that showcases Brazil's hidden specialty coffee potential.
